Love Letter

I just can’t take the lies anymore. I guess that is the bottom line. I would like to say that I will always remember you fondly but I know that will never be true. In my eyes your actions are despicable; the way you pretend to be kindhearted and as though your actions are just. I see through the game you play, that is why I am writing this letter. I write this to tell you that it is over, no longer will I allow you to hold me in your vicious, cold grasp of supposed security. I have taken the steps necessary to rid you from my life. I have done this, so that I may know freedom, the freedom to truly be myself. To tell you the truth, I am not scared to be without the security you provide. I have begun to realize it is a false sense of security, one where I am coerced to be fearful of everything except for that which I should be afraid. It is good that you know I am no longer afraid, so that you know your tactics are no longer effective. I know that I am not the first to tell you this and I know I will not be the last. The important thing is that I am one more person whom did.
